We’re excited to introduce you to the new owners of our cabin rentals in Shell Lake, Saskatchewan. We are Camille and Stefan, and as of May 1st, have taken over Shell Lake Pine Resorts from the previous owners Sheri and John.

June marks the start of one of our favourite seasons here at our Saskatchewan cabin rentals. It's family reunion time! From early June, right through to the end of summer, our cabins come alive with the laughter of multiple generations reconnecting under the big skies and along the tranquil waters near Memorial Lake.

We think Memorial Hill is one of the best hidden gems in the area! It is approximately 1km from our Shell Lake cabins and makes for a comfortable walk, or a quick drive with a conveniently close parking lot across the road specifically for those visiting Memorial Hill.

After a couple months of planning, hands-on work, and meticulous attention to detail, we’re proud to announce that Cabins #5 through #8 are now fully winterized and ready to welcome guests into their cozy interiors.

Thanksgiving weekend kicked off with the most beautiful and vibrant display of northern lights. Around 8:30 at night, Camille notice flashes of colour in the sky, grabbed her camera and ran outside.

One of the most unexpected joys of owning Aurora Skies Resorts has been the regular visits from our resident fox family. These creatures have become somewhat of a local celebrity, charming our guests and adding a touch of wild magic to their stay.

This past Christmas season was truly a magical time at Aurora Skies Resorts. As first-time cabin rental owners, we were overwhelmed by the warmth and joy that filled our little corner of Shell Lake.
